Create new customer

As described in the introduction, the customer is the highest hierarchy level of job management. Customer accounts are assigned to a customer, and jobs are assigned to a customer account.

At the latest when creating a first job for a new customer, we must create that customer in the system. Alternatively, a customer can also be created under Project management > Customers .

What belongs to a customer?

When creating a customer, only a name is initially required. Usually the name of the organization or company is used. From the customer name, the system creates a unique customer code. This code can be adjusted when creating a customer, if desired.

In the next step of the wizard, a contact person and thus the customer's address must be entered. An existing contact can be linked or a new one can be created.
