Cost categories & KSK

What are cost categories?

Cost categories are not tied to jobs and can be used in purchase invoices. A purchase invoice can belong to one or more cost categories.

Examples of cost categories are, for example, personnel, salaries, office, travel, acquisition.

If categories are renamed, this also applies retroactively to all purchase invoices belonging to that category.

The category Artists' Social Security Fund is fixed and cannot be changed or deleted.

Why cost categories?

Categorized purchase invoices can be statistically evaluated under "Reports > Cost Categories Analysis". This makes it possible to determine, for example, which budget was made available in a period for travel, acquisition, or freelancers. If necessary, new contracts can then be negotiated with suppliers.
