# Process definitions

The following pages explain how the status steps for the individual financial documents and jobs are configured and how their permissions are defined.

An automatic status change can also be defined for purchase invoices. In the dropdown, you select which status a purchase invoice automatically jumps to when it has been posted 100% to one or more jobs.&#x20;
