Commissions

Commissions are percentage surcharges on a line item in a financial document. They can be selected in the dialog for line items in estimates, credit invoices and invoices.

Create commissions

A commission consists of a name, a percentage value and the type of service.

Commissions can correspond to agency services or external services

Example of a commission with external service character

A commission can for example be an insurance rate such as Artists' social insurance 4.9% be. The commission is added as an external service because we have to pass the amount on as an agency. The same applies for example to foreigner tax, equipment insurances.

Example of a commission with agency service character

If we assign a commission processing fee to an external service item (e.g. Facebook ads), the commission share falls to agency services. So it makes sense to create this commission type as an agency service.

Deleting commissions

If a commission is deleted from the list of commissions, this has no effect on documents in which this commission has already been used. It will simply no longer be available for future documents and can be created again at any time.
