# Evaluation of revenue categories

This statistic allows the evaluation of revenues by categories, provided they were used in invoices.\
In our example we can see at a glance how much the Art Department and how much the department "Messe-Beratung" contributed to our sales.

### Where do these numbers come from?

The values come from items of sent invoices that \
a) are assigned to at least one revenue category and for which \
b) the service period of the invoice at least partially falls within the selected time frame.

Revenues from invoices with status *in progress* or *complained* as well as revenues from estimates (regardless of their status) are not taken into account here.

**Why are estimates not taken into account here?**\
Revenue categories that were used in the items of estimates are automatically transferred to the invoice when the **final invoice** is created from an estimate, so they are included in this statistic as soon as they have been billed.
